Room: Vingen 1+2
Time: 16.30-18.00
Session chairs: Dr. Thomas Hickmann (Lund University), Dr. Mikael Karlsson (Uppsala University).
Despite three decades of international climate negotiations and climate change mitigation efforts, GHG emissions continue to increase at a global level. According to the latest Emissions Gap Report by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), only an urgent system-wide transformation can avoid climate disaster. Against this gloomy background, this section invites governance experts to think outside of the box and sketch their ideas for taking more ambitious climate change mitigation actions.
Minor changes to the program may occur.
